I’ve spent eight years doing this work: walking the floor, closing out findings, sitting through audits, and explaining to people why the guard stays on the machine.
Most safety writing is either a textbook or a sales pitch. This is neither. These are the notes I wish I’d had when I started: what actually works, what looks good on paper and falls apart on the floor, and the stuff nobody tells you until an auditor shows up.
I also care a lot about data. Most incident logs are a mess, and a mess can’t tell you why people get hurt. I’ll show you how I clean that up and find the real causes, not just count the incidents. I’m pairing that with AI, but AI only helps if someone with EHS judgment is steering it. A tool can’t tell you which finding matters. You have to know the work.
My goal is simple. I want you to own your safety program, not depend on me or anyone else to run it. I’ll share the templates, checklists, and the thinking behind them. No gatekeeping.
New posts are coming soon.
